ON THE RADAR: Drug Take-Back Event Saturday

ON THE RADAR:  Drug Take-Back Event Saturday, October
26 at Larchmont Village Hall, 10 AM to 2:00 PM

Proper disposal of medicines protects you, your family and
the Long Island Sound:

  • Prevents poisoning of
    children and pets

  • Deters misuse by teens
    and adults

  • Avoids health problems
from accidentally taking the wrong medicine, too much of the same
medicine, or a medicine that is too old to work well.

  • Keeps medicines from
entering streams, rivers or the Sound when poured down the drain or
    flushed down the toilet.

So, please take an inventory of your medicine cabinet, lock
up the prescription and over-the-counter medicines you need, and drop off the
rest for safe disposal on Saturday, October 26, at Larchmont Village Hall
lobby, 120 Larchmont Avenue.  Sponsored nationally by the US Drug
Enforcement Agency and locally by L-M RADAR and the Larchmont Police
Department.
