Neighborhood Nature: Family Style

This series of walks led by Sheldrake naturalists continues… this

time for the whole family!

Explore together around beautiful Goodliffe Pond, how animals and

plants are getting ready as winter approaches. Look for chipmunk and

insect holes, search for squirrel nests in the trees, and hunt for hickory nuts

and acorns.  You may think it’s early, but you’ll also find tiny tree buds

all ready for spring!  Before you leave, visit the nature center to enjoy hot

cider and more nature with Jim Sutherland’s spectacular bird photos.

place: Sheldrake nature center, 685 Weaver Street)
