Meet in the Village Center

Has
government snooping gone too far? In the opinion of President Obama, “You can’t
have 100 percent security and also then have 100 percent privacy and zero
inconvenience. We’re going to have to make some choices as a society.” To help
us think through this critical debate is Karen Greenberg, Director of the
Center on National Security at Fordham Law School and a permanent member of the
Council on Foreign Relations. She is the author of The Least Worst Place: Guantanamo’s First 100 Days, which was
selected as one of the best books of 2009 by The Washington Post and Slate.com.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Larchmont
Public Library.
