‘GABI ROCKS NEUROBLASTOMA’ CONCERT & FUNDRAISER
Partners with Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club to Beat Childhood Cancer
Gabi’s Gold Fund today announced it will host an inaugural ‘Gabi
Rocks Neuroblastoma’ fundraiser sponsored by Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht
Club (MBYC) on Sunday November 17th from 3:30 – 5:30pm. The nonprofit
organization has partnered with MBYC to host the benefit children’s
concert and auction in honor of Gabi Olivo, a Throggs Neck 3-year old,
currently battling Stage 4 neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of
childhood cancer.
“We are so pleased that Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club has
graciously donated their beautiful venue and services in support of
finding a cure for neuroblastoma,” said Gabi’s Gold Chief Financial
Officer Jamie Flesher. “Gabi is a strength and inspiration to us all and
we are committed to finding a cure for her and all the children
battling this horrific disease.”
The event will feature a children’s concert with musical
performances by the acclaimed L.I. Aardvarks’ Lisa Ammon and Friends and
Zev Haber and Pretzelstein along with children’s games and activities, a
silent auction and raffle, a consumption bar featuring a “Gabitini,”
and vendors that include Dove’s Chocolate, Stella and Dot, Pampered

Gabrielle Paige Olivo was a typical sweet and adventurous two year
old who loved all things princess, Dora the Explorer and her ballet
classes until August 2013, two and a half weeks before her third
birthday, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma is
a particularly aggressive form of cancer that affects only children.
