Course purpose: To inform architects about the strain NYC's Construction & Demolition (C+D) waste puts on our natural environment, and how implementing waste management practices in the design, remodeling and demolition stages can relieve these burdens.

- To assess issues that arise from recycling, and how salvage and re-use provides a more sustainable alternative.
