Candidates to Debate in Mamaroneck Oct. 9

Voters can email questions for the candidates.

Voters in Larchmont and Mamaroneck will have an opportunity to hear from people running for office in the upcoming election.

The League of Women Voters of Larchmont-Mamaroneck and the League of Women Voters of Rye, Rye Brook and Port Chester are holding A Candidates' Debate at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 9.

It will be held in the Courtroom of the Mamaroneck Town Center, 740 West Boston Post Rd. in Mamaroneck.

The debate, which is open to the public, will be broadcast by LMC-TV.

The candidates with contested races are Democrat Catherine Parker and Republican John Verni for District 7 county legislator, Democrat Clark Neuringer and Republican Norman Rosenblum for mayor of the Village of Mamaroneck and Republican Louis N. Santoro and Democrat Kerry Stein for one trustee seat in the Village of Mamaroeck.

Nancy Seligson is uncontested in the race for Mamaroneck town supervisor. Jaine Elkind Eney and Ernie Odierna are uncontested for their seats on the town council.
