Pinnacle Bank Appoints New Board Member

Pinnacle Bank of South Carolina, a Greenville-based community bank, announced today the appointment of Marshall Franklin, Chief Operations Officer at Bob Jones University to the bank’s Board of Directors.

After earning his BS in professional accounting from Bob Jones University, Franklin went on to become a CPA and an auditor with Ernst & Young. He later joined a leadership team in an advisory services venture focused on risk management where his team grew the business to regional revenues of over $100 million in nine years. Franklin served as a partner for nearly 12 years and was located in Ernst & Young’s Paris office during his last three years with the company—leading growth in its Europe, Middle East, India and Africa divisions.

Franklin returned to Bob Jones University as the Chief Operations Officer in 2011 and now assists the president in setting the strategic direction for the University and implements strategies for BJU Press, campus infrastructure, retail operations and business functions (including finance, human resources and technology systems).
