At Larchmont Tavern on Chatsworth Avenue, manager Chris Hazzard says the heartier fares are most often ordered.
"Soups, like the French Onion," Hazzard said on a recent, busy Thursday during the lunch rush. "Or the Balboa sandwich."
Hazzard said steaks sell swifter in the winter, too.
