Pascal's Restaurant Says Au Revoir to Larchmont

The French restaurant will close up shop this weekend.

Despite it’s cheerful presence tucked into a corner next to the Larchmont train station on 141 Chatsworth Ave., will be serving its last authentically French meals Saturday night before shuttering its doors permanently.

The Zagat-rated restaurant—a part of the Larchmont community for the past 14 years—was a casualty of a down economy, said Marie Modica, owner Renee Powell’s mother.

Although Mamaroneck resident Powell declined to speak with Patch, Modica said her daughter had begun to tell her regular customers that the restaurant would be closing and posted a sign in the window.

“It’s so sad for everyone,” she said.

Modica said that Powell is trying to sell the restaurant.

Other Larchmont restaurants and businesses that have recently closed include Globe Bar & Grill, , Suede and April’s Closet, all on Palmer Avenue.
