Park on Patch's Dime in Mamaroneck Saturday

Larchmont-Mamaroneck Patch is paying it forward — and offering you the royal treatment on Small Business Saturday. We're paying for Mamaroneck Avenue parking meters in Mamaroneck. Stop by and meet us!

We want you to have one day when parking on Mamaroneck Avenue in downtown Mamaroneck is a pleasure — no rooting around for coins in the bottom of your purse or pocket, no running outside frantic, mid-conversation, to feed the meter.

Larchmont-Mamaroneck Patch has paid for use of downtown parking meters on Mamaroneck Avenue for Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, from 1 to 6 p.m.

Come out and support local businesses for Small Business Saturday. Visit and take photos with the Patch team at the Patch Tent on Mamaroneck Avenue.

Look for our green Patch T-shirts and meter covers!

We'll be handing out Patch swag — such as pens and bags and more — and letting you know about our mission and looking for your input: comments, criticisms and suggestions.

If you haven't already, you can also sign up to get the daily Patch newsletter.

Do us a favor and share the news with your friends and family who live and work in Mamaroneck!

Thats all well and good, but there still won't be enough parking available on the avenue. Because all of the business owners and residents will be parking for free just like they do on sundays.

Mary Mamaroneck has tons of parking, just people are too lazy to walk. Behind CVS, across from the Police Station, the Harbor and all the side streets. We just like to park right in front of the business we want to frequent.

Marc Why was Halstead Ave excluded, as always.
