Larchmont Resident Named to Buffalo Philharmonic Board

Eliopoulos is a senior vice president and chief marketing officer of M&T Bank and Wilmington Trust.

A Larchmont resident has been appointed to the board of trustees of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra Society.

Peter Eliopoulos will serve a three-year term on the board, effective immediately.

Eliopoulos is a senior vice president and chief marketing officer of M&T Bank and Wilmington Trust, having started at M&T in 2007 as CMO.

He previously worked as a management associate with Citibank, and then spent 10 years with the management consultant firms of A.T. Kearney and Mitchell Madison Group. He returned to Citibank as a senior vice president and director of marketing and eventually took on the additional role of North American sales director.

Eliopoulos has an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business. He is active in the Hellenic American Bankers Association and New York Philharmonic Society.

A musician himself, Eliopoulos spent almost a year helping with marketing and fundraising for the Buffalo Symphony Orchestra's May 2013 appearance at Spring for Music at Carnegie Hall.
