An electrical fire Wednesday at the IHOP in Larchmont has closed the restaurant for possibly two weeks.
Peter DeGast, who owns the establishment on Boston Post Road with his wife Portia DeGast, said the fire started in the electrical system in the second floor.
He said it will take time to repair the damage and that they are still evaluating what needs to be done.
"It's going to take two weeks maybe," DeGast said. "It's a step-by-step process."
