Comparing Mamaroneck Avenue's to a "corner diner" due to both its extensive menu offerings and reasonable prices, the New York Times rated the year-old restaurant a solid "Worth It" in this week's review appearing in Sunday's paper. Restaurants are rated on a scale ranging from the best, "Don't Miss" to the worst, "Don't Bother," with "Worth It" the equivalent of a "B" on the rating scale.
The Times reviewer praised the restaurant's salads: "Made with fresh greens and dressings, they can be meals in themselves," but was less impressed with the desserts which she called "inconsistent."
A "diner with a twist."
