Work From 90-Year-Old Mamaroneck Resident to Be Featured at Larchmont Arts Festival

Betty Azar will be one of the many local residents celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Larchmont Arts Festival this year.

The cards hand made by 90-year-old Mamaroneck resident Betty Azar are a gesture of congratulations on graduations, marriages and other life events, but the proceeds from the sale of the cards serve a much more urgent need.

For the past 12 years, Azar has sold her $2 cards locally at the Holy Trinity Church, route: {:controller=>"listings", :action=>"show", :id=>"most-holy-trinity-church"} --> cake sale and will be the at the Festival; other artists include printmaker Dylan Goldberger, photographer H. David Stein, painter Catherine Caufield Russell, photographer
