The Mamaroneck Library will host a free 'Wind Quintet' concert for children of all ages and adults in the Community Room of the library on Saturday, July 14th at 3 pm.
The concert will feature Frank Pedulla - Conductor, Ramesh Hans - Narrator, Jennifer Pyne - Flute, Charlotte Vieveyzer - Oboe, Kenneth Murphy - Clarinet, Peter Dressler - Horn and Barnaby Kendall - Bassoon.
In 1936 Sergei Prokofiev was commissioned by the Children's Theatre in Moscow to write a new musical symphony for children. In response, Prokofiev completed 'Peter and the Wolf' in just four days. Since then it is also a Children's book and Disney movie.
Refreshments will be provided after the concert when the artists will be available for questions.
