Movies as Art Form at Larchmont Woman's Club

Larchmont Woman's Club Offers New Ways to Enjoy Movies

Dr. Michael DiGennaro, Mamaroneck High School's popular English teacher, now retired, wants to help moviegoers view film as art. Under the auspices of the Larchmont Woman's Club on November 19, Dr. DiGennaro will analyze various components of film through lecture, discussion and film clips.  He will consider the cinematographer's choices, lighting, editing, music and directorial techniques that enhance story, theme and character.

Dr. DiGennaro has taught a class called Independent Film at Larchmont-Mamaroneck Center of Continuing Education for twenty years.
