Please join us for an artist reception for Marcia Jaeger's series, "Historic Homes of Manor Park and Scenes of Premium Point" at the Oresman Gallery at the Larchmont Public Library on Monday, July 18th from 6:30-8. All our welcome.
The collection of 11 homes were selected by Marcia while sailing from Horseshoe Harbor in Manor Park. Marcia became enamored of the wonderful houses she saw and set out to create a "plein-air series" representing the various styles of homes she encountered. In the process, Marcia met many of the locals and enjoyed chatting, having coffee and hearing about Larchmont history.
After a hiatus of many years, Marcia resumed painting in oils and studying at the Art Student League. Marcia said she has loved the opportunity to capture some of these great homes. It's been a great experience. The paintings are available for purchase. More information on Marcia is posted with the exhibit.
