Food, gloriously food: But is it?

How can a nation whose food supply is grown mainly through chemical agriculture, produce, instead, food that is healthful, home-grown and naturally delicious?

“Fresh” is a probing documentary that examines the perils of our current method of growing crops and shows us what we should be doing. It features Michael Pollen, author of “The Omnivore’s Dilemma” and one of the world’s leading and most respected voices on the state of the food industry today.

“Fresh” will be presented on Sunday, March 4, at 2:00 p.m. in the r, 121 Larchmont Avenue. There will be complimentary wine and snacks at 1:30. The event is free and open to the public. Sponsored by Friends of the Larchmont Public Library http://www.friendsoflarchmontlibrary.org  (914-954-7481)
