Art Auction Benefit for Habitat for Humanity

Join artist Piero Manrique at the opening of his Artectonic Series based on images of the 2007 Mamaroneck Flood at the Fred Astaire Mamaroneck Dance Studio, 451 E Boston Post Rd.  These beautiful mixed-media works capture the simultaneous beauty and destruction caused by unusually powerful natural forces in a suburban neighborhood. An original Manrique mixed-media work on canvas will be auctioned off to benefit the Westchester chapter of Habitat for Humanity in recognition of their tireless work during the 2007 flood. Manrique’s fascinating graphic exploration of Mamaroneck will be on display during the first week in March – Monday-Friday from 6 pm to 9 pm.  Framed and unframed prints will be available for sale, as well as other oils and mixed media pieces. More information about the artist is available at www.pieromanrique.com.
