Blue Grass Bands Deliver Lively Performance at Port Chester's Capitol Theatre

Leftover Salmon; Infamous Stringdusters and Assembly of Dust put on a show just as fun and unique as the band names imply.

Music lovers were treated to an energetic night featuring three bands well known on the blue-grass/jam-band festival circuit at The Capitol Theatre when Assembly of Dust, Infamous Stringdusters and Leftover Salmon all performed on Friday night.

Rye resident Reid Genauer’s band Assembly of Dust opened the show with a full set featuring some fan favorites. The Infamous Stringdusters followed and pleased the crowd with a mix of their original songs and covers like Eric Clapton’s “After Midnight” and the Police’s “Walking On the Moon.” The crowd got excited when the band moved up to the front of the stage to play closer to the fans.

When Leftover Salmon played the final set of the night, they had some Stringdusters members Andy Hall and Chris Pandolfi join them on stage for a few songs.

A few songs into the show, Leftover Salmon made at least one fan very happy when they played “Pasta on the Mountain.” The man had been holding up a home-made sign created from Kraft macaroni and cheese boxes, as a request to hear them play the song which mentions the mac and cheese.

Here is Leftover Salmon’s full set list:
