Although she lost the title of X Factor star to Tate Stevens, to local residents, Carly Rose Sonenclar is still a winner.
So much a winner, in fact, that the Village of Mamaroneck is throwing a parade for the precocious teen with the "voice of an angel" as her fans, "Carly's Angels," would describe her.
On Jan. 27 from 2:30-4:30 p.m., Carly will lead a parade in her honor down Mamaroneck Avenue by Jefferson Avenue to Prospect Avenue, by Molly Spillane's, that will include local fire, police and emergency management services (EMS) departments; cheerleaders; school teams and, of course, the plethora of local fans who have supported Carly throughout her career.
A rain date is to be determined.
