Warm Clothes Needed: Hampshire Country Club to Assist Hurricane Victims

The Hampshire Country Club in Mamaroneck asks the community to help.

The Hampshire Country Club is holding a donation drive to benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Operation Helping Hands

In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, there are thousands of people who have lost everything. The temperatures are dropping quickly and people need help staying warm. Hampshire Country Club is accepting donations of blankets and winter clothing for men, women and children. All donated items will be given directly to those in need as quickly as possible. Donations may be dropped off in the entry vestibule of Hampshire Country Club, located at 1025 Cove Rd., Mamaroneck, between the hours of 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Since time is of the essence, donations will be accepted through Friday, Nov. 9. Working together we can make the upcoming weeks easier for those in need!

I am impressed that Hampshire is doing this vital task. Good for them! Now maybe the other clubs should take notice.
