Baby its cold outside, but in this economy, people are thinking twice about calling in sick simply because it's just too cold to go to work.
Regardless of the temperature outside, workers are bundling up and getting to work whether by shortened Metro North train, tractor, bicycle or bus.
Some, like school crossing guard BettyAnn Jefferson, bundle up and stay outdoors. In frigid temps, Jefferson was greeting parents and children with a warm smile and tips for keeping warm.
Hopefully Spring will rear it's head early this year, although some are inclined to believe that Punxsutawney Phil had it all wrong.
Valentine' Day is almost upon us and gift ideas can be found all over Larchmont and Mamaroneck, like the twin bears suspended in the window of CVS, coyly inviting onlookers into the store, or the discounted romantic comedy sitting forlornly on a shelf at Balloons.
