RESTORATION EFFORT:

I just returned from Orienta. Rushmore Avenue has power. There is a crew at Bleeker and Orienta where the main feeder for most of Orienta is located. They expect that "main fuse" to be repaired in the next few hours. Subsequent to that they will be working on the secondary feeders and side streets. We are trying to get another crew from Con Ed in the area.

There are other pockets of the Village of Mamaroneck that remain out: Birch Hill Lane in the Heights; Shore Acres & Soundview Drive; Tompkins Avenue and Colonial Court. We also are seeking a crew to get to those areas.

Village of Larchmont (from the village website):

In the Village of Larchmont, 1,891 Con-Edison customers have had power restored, while 483 remain to be connected.  In addition, all polling places in the Village have power and will be ready for Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 6. We also have been advised that some areas may ultimately have to be de-energized in order to power up an adjacent area so your patience is appreciated as recovery continues.  Please be sure any remaining outages are reported directly to Con-Edison at 1-800-75ConEd or www.coned.com. Thank you and stay safe!
