Mamaroneck's Neuman Center to Hold Ribbon-Cutting for Renovations

The renovations change the traditional nursing home room configuration.

The Jewish Home Lifecare's Sarah Neuman Center in Mamaroneck will unveil the first portion of its multiphase renovation at 5:30 p.m. Monday, December 9.

The ribbon-cutting event will open the "Small Houses," communities on three floors that will be home to 63 elders.

According to information provided by the Sarah Neuman Center the redesign, funded by a $500,000 matching grant from the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, transformed the traditional nursing home room arrangement into semi-private rooms lining main corridors.
