The budget is 2 percent over the 2013-14 spending package and allows for modest increases in books and media, as well as updated maintenance contracts for the facility's mechanical systems, such as HVAC, according to library officials.

Four library trustees were re-elected for new three-year terms: Laurie Girsky, Joseph Vozza, Steven Warner and Susan Feitler. Joseph Germano was elected for a three-year term on the board.
