Larchmont Library to Close for Roof Repairs
The library is scheduled to reopen Saturday.
Necessary roof repairs have forced the Larchmont Public Library to close from Wednesday, Oct. 2, to Friday, Oct. 4.
Library officials said the repair work includes an asbestos abatement in which roofing material containing asbestos will be removed.
Barring any work that could require additional closings, the library will reopen at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.

Patrons are cautioned to check the library's Web site prior to coming to the facility to make certain it is open.
Temporary book drops will be located on the front lawn well away from the building. Programs scheduled to take place at the library on the days that it's closed will be either cancelled or rescheduled.
