Hampshire Country Club Delivers Donated Clothes to Community Affected By Sandy

The Mamaroneck community donated warm clothes and non-perishable goods for communities affected by Hurricane Sandy.

The content below was submitted by Leslie Dixon at the Hampshire Country Club in Mamaroneck.

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the community, Operation Helping Hands at Hampshire Country Club collected an entire truckload of coats, warm clothes and non-perishable items that were taken to one of the hardest hit areas on Long Island. We are proud to be a part of a community where a call to help people resulted in such swift action. Budget Truck Rental of New Rochelle donated the use of a truck for the delivery.

Hampshire Country Club also hosted a cocktail party last night and local police, fire and ambulatory departments who made our lives easier during the storm were invited to attend. It was our way of saying thank you!
