Washingtonville Housing Alliance's Fall Fling Dinner

Washingtonville Housing Alliance Inc. a local Mamaroneck not-for-profit organization, raised $27,000 to support Washingtonville Housing Alliance’s general operations and programs at its 33rd Annual Fundraising Dinner.

 

Over one hundred and twenty supporters and local residents gathered on Thursday, October 17, 2013 to celebrate the Fall Fling Dinner.  This event was held at Bonnie Briar Country Club, Larchmont, New York. Among the attendees were Mamaroneck Mayor Norman Rosenblum, State Senator George Latimer, Former Town of Mamaroneck Supervisor Valerie O’Keeffe, Deputy County Executive Kevin J. Plunkett and WHA’s First Executive Director Ellen Levy. The cocktail hour started with an amazing performance by Doug Munro playing guitar. The events Master of Ceremony was Reverend Bill Crawford from the Larchmont Avenue Church. Washingtonville Housing Alliance presented the Community Partner Award to Furniture Sharehouse, Westchester’s Furniture Bank, and the Marzella Garland Award to Paul Turovsky, WHA Board Treasurer. Reverend James Taylor from the First Baptist Church presented Jacob Stillman and the Boy Scouts of Troop 2 Mamaroneck with an award of appreciation for the outstanding work completed at 731 Old White Plains Rd.
