UJA-Federation's Westchester Business and Professional Division Recognizes Leaders

UJA-Federation of New York’s Westchester Business and Professional Division honored Ann K. Silver of White Plains and Richard Blaser of Armonk at its 2014 Annual Luncheon on Thursday, May 15th, at Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase, New York.

More than 250 guests came together to pay tribute to Ms. Silver and Mr. Blaser for their leadership in the Westchester community and to support UJA-Federation in its mission of caring for people in need, inspiring a passion for Jewish life and learning, and strengthening Jewish communities in New York, in Israel, and around the world. The event raised more than $200,000 for UJA-Federation, which supports a network of nearly 100 health, human-service, educational, and community-building agencies.

“Our Business and Professional Division is deeply committed to sustaining UJA-Federation’s network of life-enriching agencies; we do an incredible amount of good and we do it together,” said Event Chair Roy Stillman of Katonah. “We’re a group that truly cares about helping our neighbors in need — in Westchester, New York, Israel, and 70 other countries. Your presence here is not only greatly appreciated, but powerful.”
