Larchmont Mamaroneck Food Pantry Needs Volunteers

 The Larchmont Mamaroneck Hunger Task Force needs volunteers for its bi-weekly Food Pantry. Especially urgent is the need for volunteers on Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11am to receive and organize food deliveries in preparation for packing grocery bags for clients. Also needed are summer volunteers to pack grocery bags on Tuesdays from 5:15-6:15pm and to carry grocery bags for clients on Wednesdays from 9-10:30am. The Food Pantry will be distributing groceries on July 15-16, July 29-30, August 12-13 and August 26-27. The Food Pantry helps 1,300 adults, seniors and children on average each time it is open.
