Elder Care Expert to Present Long-Term Healthcare Program

On Monday, April 7, at 7:00pm, The Larchmont Public Library presents local Elder Law expert, Sara Meyers, in a program dedicated to gaining greater understanding about elder care and elder law and how they impact each of us. The free program, which is part of the library’s Senior Info Series, will take place in the Michael P. Coords Activity Room at the Larchmont Public Library.

Preparing for retirement can be a daunting exercise. There is much more to consider than the last day you’ll be on the job and there’s far more to making sure that your savings and retirement funds are protected than you might imagine. Many questions need to have answers in order for the path to be clear. Understanding Medicaid, long term care and other aspects of what is now known as Elder Care can be like navigating a complicated maze. Careful planning and an understanding of available programs can provide significant savings and protect valuable assets.
