Candidates are being sought who are community-minded team players who feel they can bring a unique skill set or perspective to our school system. An ideal board member should be able to understand and discuss large quantities of information, be a team player, and an articulate communicator.
School Board members are district residents who are elected to three-year terms. Board members are expected to attend two Tuesday evening meetings and two Tuesday morning meetings a month. Candidates should be community-minded and also have approximately 10 hours a week to devote to the Board.
