Brigit Cares Benefit for My Sisters’ Place on Thursday, October 20th from 7-9 pm
The Brigit Cares Benefit honors both the 17th Anniversary of the Violence
Against Women Act (VAWA) and National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
believes strongly in women supporting women and is honored to be giving back
to the community in this meaningful way. Kenneth Hutter Auctions is graciously
donating the raffle item.
Brigit Ethereal Objects to Wear, Treasure & Give is a collaborative boutique and
gallery that supports, promotes and empowers women’s artistic creativity. Brigit
carries an eclectic collection of art and artisan crafts, women’s clothing, one-of-
a-kind accessories, handcrafted designer jewelry, a unique collection of infant &
young children’s clothing and an array of gifts from local and global artists.
The gallery promotes local fine artists and authors and is currently showcasing
works by Jo Jayson of Rye Neck and Michele Wenzler of Larchmont.
My Sisters’ Place provides education to change attitudes that lead to violence
before it happens and increase awareness on the realities of domestic violence,
sexual assault, dating violence, stalking and human trafficking. My Sisters’ Place
provides a number of outreach programs to support victims of domestic violence
