Movies for Kids and Ballet Master Class
Here are some of the things you should know for Thursday, December 26, 2013.
• New Rochelle Public Library starts its holiday week programs Thursday. "Up, Up & Away" is the theme of the day Thursday with a 1 p.m. showing of The Red Balloon and a 2 p.m. screening of the Disney classic Mary Poppins. Both films will be shown in the Ossie Davis Theater of the main library, 1 Library Plz. in New Rochelle.
• There will be a Holiday Master Class with NYC Ballet Principal Daniel Ulbricht and pianist Miles Fusco at the JCC of Mid-Westchester. Space is limited and the fee is $30. Pre-register at the JCC front desk. The JCC is located at 999 Wilmot Rd., in New Rochelle. Call 914-472-3300 x320.
• The weather for Thursday, according to the National Weather Service, will be partly sunny with a high near 39. Thursday night is forecast to be partly cloudy with a low around 29.
