 tizens of the Hudson Valley will be the topic of a forum organized by a 
 coalition of labor and community groups.\nThe Hudson Valley Coalition fo
 r a Fair Economy will host a&nbsp\;free and open community forum\, "A Pe
 ople's Town Hall: How the NY State Budget&nbsp\;Affects You."&nbsp\;&nbs
 p\;\nRon Deutsch\, Executive Director of New Yorkers for Fiscal Fairness
 \, will&nbsp\;discuss the effects of the Governor's executive budget pro
 posal for&nbsp\;2012-2013 on&nbsp\;safety net programs\, school finance\
 , and tax fairness.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\nThe forum will then provide members o
 f the public an opportunity to discuss how the budget&nbsp\;will affect 
 them. All elected officials in attendance will then have an opportunity 
 to respond to residents&rsquo\; concerns.&nbsp\;\nThe forum will close w
 ith follow-up actions that the Coalition will organize in order to prote
 ct important services and investments in New York.\nThe coalition of com
 munity and labor groups organizing the forum include\,&nbsp\;American Fe
 deration of State\, County &amp\; Municipal Employees (AFSCME)\; Allianc
 e for Quality Education (AQE)\; Community Voices Heard\, Yonkers Chapter
 \; Connie Hogarth Center for Social Action\; CWA Local 1103\; Hunger Act
 on Network of NYS\; Mount Vernon United Tenants\; MoveOn\, Southern West
 chester\; Take19\; WESPAC\; Westchester for Change\; and Westchester-Put
 nam Working Families Party.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\nThe coalition was formed to s
 trengthen the groups&rsquo\; voices on efforts to reduce economic inequa
 lity\, which has become ever more pronounced.\nViewing budgets as a stat
 ement of our collective priorities and the direction\, The Coalition see
 ks to ensure that the public understands the effects of the budget on co
