 Flowers. Throughout the ages\, poets have looked to flowers for inspirat
 ion&mdash\;as subject\, as metaphor\, as symbols of the mysteries of lif
 e and love. The twenty poems in this collection all touch on flowers in 
 some way. With the intensely colored\, almost three-dimensional photogra
 phy of Camille Rankin to accompany them\, the poems take on a pleasurabl
 y visual aspect as well. Also available at the signing will be her photo

 LE RANKIN\nFor most of her career\, Camille Rankin has been a magazine e
 ditor and writer\, working at such publications as Harper&rsquo\;s Bazaa
 r\, Esquire\, Outdoor Life\, and Whole Living\, where she is currently M
 anaging Editor. In the mid 2000s\, she began to take an interest in phot
 ography\, particularly travel photography\, and regularly turned her fav
 orite images into note cards for family and friends.\n
