Author Camille Rankin will be signing her book The Poetry of Flowers. Throughout the ages, poets have looked to flowers for inspiration—as subject, as metaphor, as symbols of the mysteries of life and love. The twenty poems in this collection all touch on flowers in some way. With the intensely colored, almost three-dimensional photography of Camille Rankin to accompany them, the poems take on a pleasurably visual aspect as well. Also available at the signing will be her photography book To Love Paris: A Book of French Verbs.
ABOUT CAMILLE RANKIN
For most of her career, Camille Rankin has been a magazine editor and writer, working at such publications as Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, Outdoor Life, and Whole Living, where she is currently Managing Editor. In the mid 2000s, she began to take an interest in photography, particularly travel photography, and regularly turned her favorite images into note cards for family and friends.
