What's Wrong with this Picture?

A user-submitted photo shows that signage at Chatsworth Avenue School might need some work.

Is it that the sign about dog walking is written incorrectly? It should say "Absolutely no dog walking on school property"?

Well,
- it could be as Sara suggests.
- it could be that all dogs are expected to be English speaking readers.
- it could be that the sign says that dogs are not walking on school property when they are.
- it could be that there are cases when dogs would be legally allowed to walk on school property.
But it is certainly the case that the combination of the signs in the picture plus those close to the pictured area are so numerous and lengthy that it is likely that if someone were to read them all they'd not get a chance to use the playground. Not HOT coffee anyone :-)

You've got to love that this is a sign on a school! Does this talk to the quality of our education system?

"Do NO use...."

I am noagonna use it!

I agree with all of the above, but in addition: "No Running"?!! It's a playground!

Did not see a sign that says that it's a playground. Does have a sign that has rules for a playground. But it seems there, if it were a playground, there would be such a sign telling someone that, as there is still some unoccupied sign space on the fence and the obvious, obviously isn't necessarily obvious without obvious instructional signs :-) Have fun playing slowly, but carefully :-)

Very funny, all. There are multiple answers, which I won't say because this has made room for very interesting dialogue. What should the school do about it?

OK, we'll all possibly admit that all those signs still don't tell us where to wear the proper footwear and whether the equipment should not be used when it is wet, the user is wet or the weather is wet, or whether the equipment shouldn't be used when the sign makers are wet behind the ears. But some want YOUR multiple answers so that those that choose to can play carefully.

They need a serious sign intervention! The crowning glory is "no trespassing". Huh?
I'm stumped. There should be one, PROPERLY spelled and organized sign that delivers realistic and sane rules for a PLAYground on PUBLIC school property. It's not rocket science.
Just sayin'.

Do NO use bad grammar while being in the school playground.
And kids can't run in the playground, but dogs can.
The only thing dogs can't do is walk.

We'll have to ask for some school intervention and see what can be done.

The signs have been changed. It looks like the school district looked at all the comments here. There are a few new signs!!!!!
