What's Great About These Pictures?
After Patch readers said what they thought was wrong with a photo of school signs at Chatsworth, the school installed new signs. Coincidence?
Last week, a Patch user submitted a photo of signs outside of Chatsworth Avenue School, bringing my attention to a typo on one sign and a long list of what students could not do in the playground on another.
After posting the photo and asking, "What's Wrong with this Picture?" users offered all kinds of input, the latest one being, "The signs have been changed. It looks like the school district looked at all the comments here. There are a few new signs!!!!!"
Coincidence?
Take a look at the school's brand new signs (right) and let us know what you think about these. Are there any typos or grammatical errors left? Do you think the list of "DO NOTs" should be shorter?

MUCH better. Correct subject/verb agreement and it's clear that it means people can't walk their dogs (as opposed to a dog that walks).

It's great to see that their signs are improving grammatically speaking!
But one of the signs still says NO RUNNING. C'mon, really? No running? I'd love to hear from the school what's the reason for that. Liability, maybe?
By the way, I drove by the school playground today and there were lots of kids breaking the rules!

I like the Playground closed sign, it closes at 5 and 8, but it never opens again!

"No trespassing when playground is closed." Anyone?

On a more serious note, it's great that the school replaced the old signs.

It's great that the Patch has an impact. You should be proud, the format, the timeliness and ease of use are great, the other local news/community sites should be this well crafted and maintained.
