Suzanna is an excellent candidate.
She has a depth of energy, intelligence, grace and integrity to lead in this dark time.
I have worked with her and for her. I speak from experience.
Please vote for her in District 7. You will not regret it.

I hope that the politician paid for this advertisement. If not, I think that the Patch should present videos of all the candidates. If not, it is not fair.

All I can say is that I asked the question because I did not see a video for any other candidate on the Patch in Rye or Harrison. The seat Judy and Suzanna is running for includes a part of Harrison. Perhaps I am going senile.

How do you know that?

It is interesting to me that on October 9th, I posted a question on Suzanna Keith for Legislator Face book page, requesting for her to respond to issues of pollution, and the health and safety of Rye residents as well as a letter that was written to the editor of the Rye Record. Not only did Mrs. Keith not respond, she removed the post and blocked me from asking the question again. Her refusal in the past to address the issues on a City level and now on a County level leads me to believe that she is not a leader but a follower. Mrs. Keith I have re-posted the question and the link below once again. Can you please prove me wrong?
Mrs. Keith,
In this week’s Rye Record a letter to the editor was published with regard to Hen Island.
http://ryerecord.com/homepage-eight/letters.html
Could you please respond to it and also state your position as to; if you believe there is or is not a problem with sewage, Potable water, and mosquito infestation on Hen Island? If you believe there is, can you also state what you would do in attempting to rectify the problem if you were to be elected as a county Legislator?
Seeing as you have been silent on this issue as a Rye Council person I feel this would be an important issue to voting residents of Westchester especially residents in the sound shore area which are directly affected by Mosquito infestations and improper sewage entering the Long Island Sound.

You seem hell bent on getting a quick answer to something that's been years and years in the making and somehow this falls on Suzanna's feet? Long term problem requires a long term solution not just grandstanding.
Now as to the election at hand, Mrs. Keith is a far superior candidate that Judy Meyers ever will be. And let's not forget that Judy Meyers will vote lock stock & barrel with Ken Jenkins who'd be more than happy to raise your taxes even more if you'd like.

Billy,
Suzanna has been silent on the Hen Island problems as a Rye City council person for the past year. When she ran in Rye in 2009 we supported her because she led us to believe she and Doug French were going to address the problem appropriately. Up until now she has just followed behind Doug French’s 360 degree rhetoric. We are not asking her to fix the problem, just to tell us if believes there is a problem or not and if so, how she will attempt to deal with it on a County level.
Her silence on this issue speaks volumes. She needs to demonstrate to us that she can lead and no- longer follow those who lie and deceive the public. Deleting our questions from her face book page was a big statement. West Nile Virus, Health and safety and protecting our waterways are big issues in Rye especially on Milton Point and Greenhaven. Surely she can do better answering the questions rather that deleting them. I will tell you what Billy; we will give her another opportunity and post this on her face book page once again. Hopefully this time she will not delete it.

All I can say is that a little over a week ago I posed the same question to Suzanna Keith and Judy Myers. Both agreed that it was something that should be done. All I can say is that I have not heard from Suzanna as of yet and Judy submitted a request at last night's Board of Legislator's meeting.
While I understand that Suzanna cannot submit legislation and that she is busy, but I would have appreciated a response, even something as simple as telling me that she was still researching my inquiry.
Thank you. Naomi

Suzanna can't say anything that isn't in her script between now and Election Day. I think she's not allowed to. She needs to stick to her GOP template written for her -although her flack can move around the names and dates and a few factoids to "freshen" it.
Seriously, she is dodging important issues. Judy Myers came to our Rye council after our most recent flood and took a lot of heat, as did the city government. Guess who was UNCHARACTERISTICALLY quiet? Yes, Suzanna Keith. She abstained on a discussion of the tax cap and has yet to state her position on our Rye Schools bond. Then there's the Tiki Bar tax dust up - where Rob Astorino does not want Rye taxes collected on the restaurant because it is a vendor in a county park - an issue with which I happen to agree. Judy Myers spoke up to defend Rye! Not Suzanna - not a word.

I only speak about what I know. If Suzanna did not want to follow up with me until after the election, she could have said to me that she was still looking into the issue and wanted to let me know that she wanted to keep me on her radar. She has my e-mail and so does Judy Myers. Judy Myers followed up, Suzanna Keith did not. I cannot comment on anything else-I only comment on things that I know for a fact. Thank you. Naomi

Take a look at Suzanna Keith's current attack ad against Judy Myers, in the Sound & Town.
Not only does Suzanna fail to say a single positive thing about anything, including, especially, herself, she does not even mention the party to which she belongs, presumably because she is afraid that telling people she is a conservative Republican will confuse them with the facts.

Hey, maybe there's nothing good to say about Judy's term of office. The tax "reduction" was a farce. The consistent support of Boss Jenkin's overrides of Astorino's vetos reflects a lack of desire to reform the cost of county gov't.
Can you think of something wrong with County employees contributing to their health care costs? Can you think of something right with trying to keep 30+ people employed at Westchester County tax payer expense when they have nothing to do because their contract has been supported? Not Judy Myers. She seems to be against county employees contributing to their health care costs AND in favor of paying people a county salary who have no work to do.

Suzanna is running as a Conservative Republican among the party faithful but as a little green twig concerned with the sustainability of her carbon footprint (because the Republican Party is SO GOOD on environmental issues) among her friends who care about the world in which we live. She's very good at talking out of both sides of her mouth because her background is in marketing - although her own description of her background varies with her audience as well.
Voters need to know that the Conservative Party has joined with the Right to Life Party here in Westchester. There is no longer a Right to Life ballot line. At Conservative meetings when they pledge allegiance to our flag they change the words of the pledge to mention liberty and justice for the "unborn".
Suzanna must been present at such a meeting to gain the Conservative endorsement. They specifically ask about abortion rights and - this might be even more frightening to some people - you WILL NOT GET THE CONSERVATIVE ENDORSEMENT IF YOU SUPPORT MARRIAGE EQUALITY. Far from being "mainstream", as her professional flack Don Sutherland says as he is all over the blogs for her, Suzanna sat down with the Conservative/Right to Life party and gave the answers they required or she would not have received their endorsement. Women particularly should be aware of this, as well as men who love women or maybe even people with daughters, sisters or friends who are female. Conservative=Right to Life in Westchester.

Myers and the other Democratic legislators supported health care contributions for non-represented employees, with contribution tiers based on income. County legislators contribute 20% of health care premiums, which is the highest tier. They set out the structure for tiered contributions as an example for represented employees. However, it is the County Executive who is responsible for negotiating labor agreements, not the County Legislature. Five of the six labor agreements for the County are open and have been in negotiations for years, and employee contributions would be part of the new agreements. The ball has been in Astorino's court since he took office to negotiate new labor agreements. Yapping by County legislators on their positions regarding individual elements of potential agreements would not be helpful. If Keith insists on taking a position on health insurance premium sharing, what are her positions on all other elements of the collective bargaining agreements under discussion? What are her positions on new agreements with the county police or corrections officers? None, because she hasn't got a clue about anything but the talking points handed to her by her handlers.
P.S. I don't understand the Democratic legilators' vote for retaining the Section 8 jobs, but I especially don't understand Astorino's refusal to allocate funds proposed by the legislators for county-wide efforts to address flooding issues.
